Wright-Harmon has completed two outdoor seasons at the collegiate level and has two NEC high jump titles to show for it. Now, the Garden State product, who owns the NEC Outdoor Championship meet record, appears serious about capturing a third conference crown. Contesting her signature event for only the second time this season, Wright-Harmon cleared 1.78m (5’ 10”) to strike gold at the Florida Relays. She beat out competitors from Penn State, Maryland, Louisville and Alabama and is only one of 24 Division I high jumpers to reach that height this season. The third-year Blackbird currently holds a 9-centimeter lead over the second-place occupant on the NEC performance list.
