Lewis’ first high jump performance of the outdoor season stands as one of the nation’s best. Finishing in between Kentucky’s Justin Kretchmer and USC’s Michael Krone, Lewis cleared 2.11m (6’ 11”) to claim the silver medal at the Florida Relays in Gainesville. The mark catapulted Lewis into first place on the NEC season leader board and stands 11 centimeters better than the top height of his closest competition. Lewis is one of only 38 Division I high jumpers to clear 2.11m this season.
