DeRienzo, the NEC Player of the Month this past March, is back in the winner’s circle after posting a pair of #1 singles victories last week for the Pioneers. The junior, who had a nine-match win streak snapped at the end of March, rebounded to beat Albany’s Dajana Ognjenovic - a transfer from Washington State - by a 7-5, 6-2 score, then defeated Bryant’s Ryan Brown, 6-1, 6-4, to move to 3-0 in NEC play. DeRienzo is now 9-1 in dual matches and 17-4 over the course of the 2014-15 campaign.
