Gervais collected a pair of singles victories last week for the Red Flash to improve to 10-4 in #1 flight dual match play this season. In SFU’s 6-1 win over Mount St. Mary’s last Thursday, the Quebec native beat the Mount’s Austin Blake, 7-6, 6-3. The following afternoon, Gervais posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Dayton’s Bernardo Sanson, an All-Atlantic 10 player last season. He also teamed with Rodrigo Tico for an 8-5 win at #1 doubles against the Mount.
