Fresh off receiving All-America honors for his 200m performance at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Rodney opened his outdoor season at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The fourth-year Blackbird sprinted to the top of the NEC in the 100m dash, clocking in at 10.40. The time is nearly one-half second better than the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships and it places the Canadian-born Rodney in fourth place on the NCAA East Region leader board. Rodney also ran a leg for LIU’s 400m and 1600m relay teams in Austin.
