Morris was in top form on Bryant’s swing through Texas and Louisiana last week, winning all three of his #2 flight matches. He knocked off Lamar’s Maichel Feucht, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, last Tuesday, then won a pair of matches on Friday. Morris downed former Southland Conference Rookie of the Year Rui Silca of New Orleans, 6-3, 6-7, 10-7, then swept Louisiana Lafayette’s Damian Farinola, 6-4, 6-1. Morris improved to 16-7 on the year. He leads the Bulldogs in singles victories.
