Berzins, the three-time NEC Player of the Year and two-time NEC Player of the Month in 2014-15, is on his typical spring roll for the Knights. The Adazi, Latvia product won three of his four matches, beginning with a 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Marist’s Justin Chanthalangsy on March 7. He went on to beat reigning America East Rookie of the Year Raphael Termat of Stony Brook, 6-4, 6-4, and Stetson’s Laurynas Antropikas, 6-4, 5-7 (4-7), 1-0 (10-4). Berzins has posted an 8-2 record this spring in #1 singles play.
