The junior midfielder played a remarkable all-around game in leading Wagner to their second straight win, a 14-9 road victory over Lafayette on Saturday. The 2014 NEC Defensive Player of the Year filled up the box score on both sides of the field, finishing with three goals and two assists, good for a team-high five points. Gegan also dug out seven ground balls, caused six turnovers, had one draw control and was successful on her only free-position shot on the afternoon. For the season, the ultra-versatile Gegan leads the Seahawks in goals (8), assists (6), points (14), ground balls (15) and caused turnovers (12).
