Just as she has done since the season’s start, Nwajei continued to pile up the points last week. She averaged 28.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals per contest during the Seahawks’ two-game road swing through Mount St. Mary’s and Robert Morris. The sophomore guard poured in 29 points on 12-for-21 shooting in a narrow loss to the Mount. Two days later, the New York City product scored a game-high 28 points to help Wagner overcome a 13-point second-half deficit at Robert Morris. She also tallied seven rebounds and six assists in what was the #NECWBB Game of the Week on ESPN3, a 66-60 victory for the Seahawks. Nwajei (24.8 ppg) heads into the offseason as the leading scorer in NCAA Division I.
