Lukosius is becoming somewhat synonymous with the NEC Rookie of the Week award. En-route to earning the honor for the fifth time this season, the Garden State product averaged 21.96 pins per frame at the Prairie View A&M Invitational. Occupying the leadoff spot, Lukosius filled 91.8 percent of frames bowled while starting all 13 matches at the talent-loaded three-day tournament. She struck on 56 percent of her chances and nailed 87.0 percent of her non-split spare attempts as FDU compiled the tournament’s highest pinfall over the course of the weekend. She posted a 221.2 traditional game average during Saturday’s five-match slate, which included a 253-pin performance in a win over Valpo. Lukosius was also a key contributor in a victory over tournament host Prairie View, throwing a 223 game.
