Hart provided a number of clutch shots during what could be considered the greatest day in the LIU Brooklyn’s program history. With Hart occupying the anchor position, the Blackbirds defeated No. 7 Sam Houston State, No. 5 Stephen F. Austin and No. 1 Nebraska to win the team title at the Stormin’ Ladyjacks Classic. Hart averaged 22.83 pins per frame over the course of Sunday’s three Best-of-7 baker matches, all of which went to a deciding Game 7. For the entire three-day tournament, Hart accounted for a 21.67 overall frame average. She threw a team-high 142 strikes in 230 attempts (.617). Filling 86.3 percent of her frames, Hart left only 22 opens in three days and 15 of them followed splits. Hart posted a 208.17 game average during six traditional team matches on Saturday. Her efforts helped the Blackbirds secure victories over No. 8 Maryland-Eastern Shore, tournament host Stephen F. Austin and Louisiana Tech.
