With the NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships creeping closer, Ledford set her seasonal best in the pole vault. The defending NEC Indoor champion cleared 3.67m (12’ 0.5”) while contesting the Akron Invitational. Reaching the ECAC Championship qualifying standard for the fourth time this season, Ledford’s latest performance was good enough to earn her a silver medal at Akron. The Keystone State product currently sits tied atop the NEC leader board with RMU teammate Olivia Loy. Ledford and Loy both cleared 3.67m at Akron, but the former needed fewer attempts to do so.
