Gardner posted a pair of top-3 NEC marks while competing at the Penn State National Invitational. The first-year Mountaineer high jumped her way into third place on the league leader board, clearing 1.63m (5’ 4.25”) while contesting the event at the collegiate level for only the second time. Gardner trimmed her seasonal-best 60m hurdle time down to 9.11, a mark that is also good for third of the NEC performance list.
