Not bad for starters. Contesting the 800m run for the first time in his career, Guerrera produced a Northeast Conference-leading time at the Boston University Terrier Invitational. The first-year Pioneer finished the race in 1:53.73 to move ahead of Wagner’s Darius Moulton and into first place on the NEC performance list. The time is good enough to make Guerrera an automatic qualifier for the IC4A Championships in March. The Empire State product has two NEC Rookie of the Week awards under his belt; he won his first on December 16.
