Thompson shaved more than one-half second off her 400m seasonal best and holds the NEC Rookie of the Week award for the third consecutive week as a result. The FDU freshman reclaimed the NEC lead in the 400m dash while competing at the Metro Team Challenge. Becoming the first NEC quarter-miler to post a sub-58 time this season, Thompson (57.97) finished sixth overall in a crowded field of 57 entrants at the NYC Armory.
