WEEK 11: 17.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.0 spg, .538 3FG pct
Musgrave, the top rookie scorer in the NEC last week, was sensational shooting the basketball from beyond the arc and at the charity stripe. The freshman guard connected on 53.8 percent of her attempts from three-point range and converted at 81.8 percent from the free throw line as Central Connecticut faced a pair of New York City-based foes. Helping the CCSUrun its NEC win streak to four in a row, Musgrave averaged 17.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per victory. The 5-foot-7 Marylander came off the bench and poured in a career-high 22 points in a double-digit win over Wagner on Saturday. Becoming the first Blue Devils to hit the 20-point mark in a conference contest, Musgrave sank five three-pointers and all five of her free throws against the Seahawks. Two days later, she scored a game-high 12 points in a narrow road win over St. Francis Brooklyn. Musgrave, CCSU’s second-leading scorer this season, hit three free throws during the final 1:03 of the 51-49 triumph. She has produced a double-digit point total in four of her last five outings.
