Archer accounted for a shooting clip rarely seen in NEC women’s basketball circles. Shooting 89.5 percent from the floor, the 6-foot forward made 17 of 19 field goal attempts during Saint Francis U’s two-game road swing. Making stops at Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner, Archer averaged 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. She tallied 18 points and eight rebounds, while going a perfect 9-for-9 from the field, in an overtime loss at the Mount. Two days later, Archer poured in 22 points in 29 minutes against Wagner. Powering the Red Flash to their first conference win since January 5, she made 8 of 10 attempts from the floor and sank all six of her free throws. Archer’s career night was part of a wire-to-wire victory that snapped the Red Flash’s five-game slide.
