Lukosius was red hot in the leadoff spot at Bowie State’s Underwood Classic. Spearheading Fairleigh Dickinson’s first-place finish, and perfect 11-0 record, the rookie bowler recorded a 21.27 overall frame average of the course of the three-day tournament. Lukosius was sensational during the baker play portions of the event, averaging a team-high 23.65 pins per baker frame. Her top traditional game performance was a 211-pin showing in a victory over Virginia State. She also exceeded the 200-pin mark in traditional team wins over No. 19 Norfolk State and tournament host Bowie State. Lukosius left only 10 opens over the course of the weekend, accounting for a .908 filled frames percentage. The Garden State product threw 61 strikes in 113 opportunities (.540) and converted more than 85 percent of her non-split spare attempts. Lukosius is the third different Knight to capture the NEC Bowler of the Week award this season, joining sophomore Melanie Hannon and senior Liat Vizenfeld.
