Bailey continued to contribute in the scoring department as Bryant held on to a share of first place last week. The five-time NEC Rookie of the Week has scored in double figures in five consecutive contests and averaged a double-double during last week’s two-game sample. Bailey, who shot 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from three-point range), produced 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest as the Bulldogs battled Central Connecticut and Wagner. The 5-foot-7 guard accounted for 15 points in Bryant’s first league loss of the season, a 70-59 setback at Central Connecticut. Helping the Bulldogs bounce back and reclaim a spot atop the NEC standings, Bailey recorded 16 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Wagner. The Keystone State product shot 60 percent from the floor, including a 3-of-5 clip from downtown, and committed only one turnover during 32 minutes of playing time in the 84-48 triumph.
