After making the move from to Hackensack last year, the junior college transfer appears prepared to chase a NEC title this indoor season. Hines claimed the top spot on the conference leader board in the weight throw by flinging it 17.81m (58’ 5.25”) last week. The distance is nearly 2.0 meters better than the ECAC Championship qualifying standard and it leads the NEC by 1.34 meters.
