Carrying over some momentum from his all-NEC cross country selection, Guerrera posted one of the region’s fastest 1,000m times while competing at Northeastern’s Jay Carisella Invitational. Finishing second of 22 entrants at the meet, the first-year Pioneer crossed the line in 2:31.61. The time ranks 16th overall on the IC4A Championship performance list, but is approximately three seconds off the automatic qualifying standard.
