Kane retains the NEC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week award following his second consecutive high jump victory. The senior Seahawk, who cleared 7-plus feet during his season-opening performance at the Fordham Christmas Classic, out-leapt the field at the annual MAC Classic. Competing against regional rivals at the Jersey Shore-based meet, Kane’s 2.04m jump made him an easy winner. Having already owned the NEC lead in the high jump, Kane ascended to the top of the league leader board in the long jump while contesting the MAC Classic. The Keystone State product was the second-best collegiate finisher in the event after bounding 6.84m.
