Going up against Coppin State and NC State, Brewer shot 59.3 percent from the field while averaging 25.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest. Sparking an 81-65 home win over Coppin State, the senior guard hit five 3-pointers en-route to a career-best 28-point performance. Brewer, who shot 64.3 percent from beyond the arc last week, carried her hot hand into a road contest at ACC member North Carolina State. Shooting 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from the floor, including a 4-for-6 clip from downtown, Brewer netted a team-high 22 points to go along with five rebounds in a setback to the Wolfpack. With nine 3-pointers in her past two games, Brewer (2.11/g) has moved into fifth place on the NEC leader board in 3-pointers made.
