Brown’s performance at the Bucknell Bison Opener yielded a league-leading mark in the shot put. The Jersey Shore product put the shot 15.42m to finish fourth at the meet and claim the early-season NEC lead in the process. The mark is also good enough for fifth place on SFU’s all-time performance list. In addition to his success in the shot, Brown’s top fling in the weight throw ranks as the second best by a NEC thrower thus far this season.
