WEEK 11 STATS: 3 tackles, punt block
Minor made a major impact on special teams during Central Connecticut’s Week 11 clash with Nutmeg State rival Sacred Heart. The sophomore linebacker was the key reason why the Blue Devils held a 7-0 lead over the defending NEC champion Pioneers at the conclusion of the first quarter. With Sacred Heart punting from its own end, Minor broke free and stuffed the kick. The block sent the ball rolling into the end zone when CCSU’s Josh Alaeze fell on top of it for the game’s first score. Minor, who made two stops on defense, also logged a special teams tackle on kickoff coverage. Tyrell Holmes caught a 5-yard touchdown pass to knot the game at 21-21 and Minor dropped returner Stephan Thomas at the SHU 26-yard line on the ensuing kickoff
