WEEK 11 STATS: 5 total tackles (2 solo), 1.5 TFL, 99-yard INT RET TD
Dieudonne delivered on a number of occasions during Wagner’s dominant defensive showing in the #NECFB Game of the Week on ESPN3. He totaled five hits, including 1.5 tackles for a loss, in the 20-0 shutout victory and returned an interception 99 yards for a game-changing touchdown on the final play of the third quarter. Dieudonne was a key player in run defense, too, as the Seahawks, who rank third in the FCS against the run, limited Robert Morris to -17 rush yards. The senior cornerback limited the ball carrier to gains of 3 and 1 yards on his first two tackles of the day. He later dropped RMU’s leading receiver – Duane Mitchell – for a 1-yard loss on a pass play and hit quarterback Marcus Prather six yards behind the line of scrimmage on a 3rd-and-2 rushing attempt in the fourth quarter. Dieudonne’s momentum-shifting interception was the former Purdue transfer’s six pick of the season, a mark that is tied for second amongst FCS national leaders.
