Curbelo notched his first career assist in a 2-0 St. Francis Brooklyn win over LIU Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon. The freshman’s first career assist in the 63rd minute could not have come at a better time as it broke a scoreless deadlock and helped the Terriers defeat their neighborhood rivals. The victory also clinched the third seed in the 2014 NEC Men’s Soccer Tournament.
