Dieudonne derailed three potential Central Connecticut scoring drives during Wagner’s 20-10 NEC road win. Helping the Seahawks’ improve to 2-0 in conference play, the former all-NEC defensive back picked off two passes, made two tackles and logged a pass break-up. Dieudonne made his first impactful play with Wagner protecting a 3-0 lead early in the second quarter. The senior cornerback intercepted a 3rd-and-12 pass at Wagner’s 19-yard line and returned it 43 yards into CCSU territory. Dieudonne delivered a key hit in run defense later on in the quarter. On a 3rd-and-6 play from Wagner’s 33-yard line, he wrapped up preseason All-American Rob Hollomon two yards short of the first-down marker. With CCSU looking to cut into the Seahawks’ 17-7 lead midway through the third quarter, Dieudonne picked off a pass that was intended for 2013 all-conference selection Tyrell Holmes at the Wagner 5-yard line.
