For the second consecutive event, Connelly was the highest placing NEC rookie as Sacred Heart competed at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. She narrowly edged out fellow freshman Hannah Dorian of Saint Francis U, who is the only NEC rookie to defeat Connelly this season, as both finished with a time of 23:19. Connelly's time put her in 108th place overall in the 35-team event.
