The senior forward was a key player in the Red Flash's dramatic comeback win at DeGol Field on Sunday against LIU Brooklyn. Byers broke a 1-1 tie with a header for his first goal of the game and then, with the score tied 2-2, he took it upon himself to drive into the box and unleash a drilled shot to the back post for his second of the game. The goal proved to be the game-winner. The Red Flash earned two wins this weekend and have taken over the top spot in the conference standings.
