Noel accounted for 303 yards of total offense and three touchdowns despite not attempting a pass during the final 25:45 of Sacred Heart’s 52-13 home win over Robert Morris. Helping his team move to 5-1 on the season, Noel engineered touchdown drives on Sacred Heart’s first four possessions. The sophomore quarterback finished 19-of-24 passing for 295 yards and his three touchdown tosses gave the Pioneers a 21-0 first-quarter lead. First, he capped a 91-yard drive by finding Tyler Dube on a 4-yard scoring strike. Fewer than 5:00 later, the 6-foot-1 signal caller hooked up with running back Sean Bell on an 18-yard play that bumped the Pioneers’ lead to 14-0. His 5-yard touchdown toss to Pat Casey gave Sacred Heart a 21-0 advantage with 4:02 left in the opening quarter. Noel, who did not take a snap in the fourth quarter, played a turnover-free game.
