The 2012 NEC Rookie of the Year scored her sixth, seventh, and eighth goals of the season in FDU's thrilling 4-3 overtime victory on the road at Hartford. Hoekstra netted her hat trick in regulation with the third coming in the 88th minute to equalize and force extra time where the Knights would eventually win via an Amanda Goulet golden goal.
