Petit-Homme appears to be in championship form as the NEC outdoor title meet approaches. The second-year Blackbird flew to a second-place finish in the 400m hurdles in the College Division of the Penn Relays. The Haitian-born hurdler clocked in at 51.58, coming up 0.05 second shy of the seasonal best he ran at the Florida Relays in early April. Petit-Homme, who leads the NEC by a wide margin, holds the No. 26 spot on the NCAA Division I performance list. The sophomore will look to strike gold for the second year in a row at the NEC Outdoor Championships. With a seed time of 51.53, he is a threat to the 14-year old meet record (51.54).
