O’Hara matched her league-leading mark in the hammer throw at this past weekend’s Bucknell Team Challenge. O’Hara’s fling of 53.25m (174’ 8”), which is 2.25m better than the ECAC Championship qualifying standard, was good enough for a silver medal. Only Penn State’s Melissa Kurzdorfer threw farther at the meet. It is the second week in a row that O’Hara’s top mark was 53.25m. She currently sits tied atop the NEC leader board with Sacred Heart’s Mareena DiMilia.
