First, Walker-Khan used his long jumping prowess to secure the NEC Rookie of the Week award. Now, the British-born Blackbird is enjoying a second straight weekly honor thanks to his recent performance in the 400m hurdles. Walker-Khan won his heat at Princeton’s Larry Ellis Invitational by clocking in at 53.73. The time, which qualifies him for the IC4A Championships, ranks the LIU rookie fourth on the NEC leader board.
