Back-to-back NEC Player of the Week, Ballo fired his lowest round of the season on Saturday. In the first round of the D-I New England Championships at Mohegan Sun Country Club Ballo carded a seven-under 65. He then had a two-under 70 on Sunday to win the tournament by one stroke. It is the Connecticut native's second consecutive individual title.
