Jensen enjoyed a breakout weekend at the Hopkins Loyola Invitational in Baltimore. The sophomore took over the NEC lead in the 100m hurdles and registered a PR in the 200m dash. Jensen easily won the 100m hurdles by clocking in at 14.07s. The seasonal-best time ranks first on the 2014 NEC Performance List and is 0.02 second off the personal record Jensen set at the 2013 ECAC Outdoor Championships. Jensen set a personal best in the 200m dash by recording a sub-25 second time for the first time as a collegian. The Jersey Shore product crossed the line in 24.91, which was good enough to win gold at the Hopkins Loyola Invitational and lift the second-year Seahawk up to second on the NEC leader board.
