Pagano has now gone 30 innings without giving up a run and 36.1 innings without giving up an earned run. The R-Senior broke the Mount St. Mary's career wins record in style with a no-hitter in a 2-0 home win over Sacred Heart on April 5. Pagano passed the mark set by Zena Edwards ('89) of 46 career wins in the complete-game shutout. In Pagano's third career no-hitter and first since 2012, the Winslow, N.J. native fanned 10 Sacred Heart batters.
Pagano continued to dominate in game two versus the Pioneers with another complete-game shutout with seven strikeouts, while giving up five hits to help the Mount sweep Sacred Heart for the second-consecutive season. The NEC leader went right back to work the following day versus Robert Morris. In game two of the doubleheader, Pagano tossed another gem, posting her fourth-consecutive shutout to earn her 11th win of the season. Pagano scattered four hits while striking out six in the Mount's 1-0 victory. The win snapped a 13-game losing streak to Robert Morris and was the Mount's first victory over RMU since 2007.
Pagano's last earned run came in the first inning of a 1-0 loss to Bowling Green on March 21. She has made five appearances since then, picking up one save and tossing four complete-game shutouts. With 11 wins on the year, Pagano is three away from tying the school record of 14 in a season, a mark she tied last season. For the season, Pagano has five games with 10 or more strikeouts.
