Saunders has contested two meets this outdoor season and has matched her program record in the high jump on both occasions. This past weekend, Saunders out-classed the field at the 19th annual Monmouth Season Opener, clearing 1.75m (5’ 8.75”) to strike gold. Her winning leap was 5 centimeters better than the runner-up finisher. She is only one of 23 jumpers in the NCAA East Region to have cleared that height thus far this outdoor season.
