Petit-Homme was the NEC 400m hurdles champion as a freshman, and the second-year Blackbird appears poised to defend his title this spring. Contesting the 400m hurdles at a collegiate meet for the first time since his NCAA Championship appearance last June, Petit-Homme posted a solid season-opening time at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The sophomore hurdler crossed the line in 53.29 and immediately shot up to first place on the NEC performance list as a result. The time, which currently ranks 75th in NCAA Division I, automatically qualifies Petit-Homme for the IC4A Championships.
