LAST WEEK: 5 Starts, .632 BA (12-for-19), 2 HR, 6 runs, 4 RBI, 2 BB, 2 SB, 1.696 OPS
Mullen mashed opposing pitching to spearhead Bryant’s 4-1 week, which included a 3-1 series victory over CAA member Delaware.  The third baseman batted .632 (12-for-19) with a double, two home runs, four RBI and six runs scored. The 205-pounder also stole two bases. Raising his season average from .196 to .323, he had at least two hits in each of the five games. Showing great discipline at the plate, Bryant’s No. 2 hitter posted a 1.696 OPS (on-base plus slugging) and did not strike out at all in 23 plate appearances. Mullen blasted a solo homer as part of a 2-for-4 day in a 3-0 mid-week win over Northeastern. Continuing to victimize CAA pitching, Mullen went 10-for-15 (.667) at the plate in a four-game series against Delaware. His career day, which included a double and a dinger,  powered the Bulldogs to a 10-9 win over UD in Game 3 of the series. He reached base safely five times, including a career-high four hits, and scored two runs.
