Hart posted the highest overall frame average (19.13) of any NEC bowler who contested the Red Flash Invitational. LIU Brooklyn’s anchor bowler, who was equally effective during both baker and traditional play, filled 80 percent of frames bowled over the course of the three-day event. With Hart spearheading the effort, the Blackbirds led the field by nearly 200 pins after two days of competition. Battling challenging lane conditions, Hart hit the 200-pin mark twice in five traditional team games, doing so against Cheyney and NEC rival Kutztown. Her 190.2 traditional average was the fifth-highest at the tournament. After LIU dropped its first two matches during Sunday’s best-of-7 championship baker play, Hart helped her team bounce back with a notable win over No. 15 Delaware State in the third-place match. She filled 11 of 12 frames bowled during LIU’s 4-to-2 victory over the Hornets. Hart, who cashed in on 11 of 18 strike attempts during the match, sealed the victory by striking out in the 10th frame of a 215-201 Game 6 win.
