Wrapping up a phenominal freshman campaign, Nihipali earns her second NEC Swimmer of the Week honor. In addition to tallying three, first-place finishes in individual events, Nihipali earned pool records in both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 56.24 and 2:05.03, both second best times in the NEC this season respectively. Nihipali was also an integral member of Wagner's gold medal-winning 200-yard Medley Relay team. Greatly aided by the points accumulated by the native of Hawaii, Wagner was able to defeat CCSU for the first time since the 2003-2004 season.
