The senior guard did it all, averaging 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals, while shooting 56.7 percent from the field and 52.9 percent (9-17) from long distance. The Mount rallied from nine down with under four minutes remaining to force overtime against FDU on Thursday, and it was Whack’s three-pointer with 2:13 on the clock that cut the lead to four. It marked Whack’s first career double-double. Two days later he poured in a game-best 26 points, hitting five of the Mount’s 16 three-pointers in a wild 95-92 win over LIU Brooklyn. His layup with 34 seconds to go gave the Mountaineers a five-point edge.
