Steinbugl captured the NEC Indoor pole vault title as a freshman, and the second-year collegian appears primed to defend his crown come February. The Keystone State product catapulted himself to first place on the NEC leader board by clearing 4.65m (15’ 3”) at Bucknell’s Gulden Invitational. The height, which was five centimeters shy of his winning mark at the 2013 NEC Indoor Championships, earned him gold at the Gulden.
