O'Hara made her collegiate debut at the Saturday Night Shootout and threw her way to a third-place finish in the 20-pound weight. The Red Flash rookie's fling of 16.23m (53' 3") made her the NEC leader in the event. The mark was six centimeters better than the one produced by fellow NEC freshman Zhane Stone of Wagner. O'Hara took third at the Shootout, finishing behind St. John's Dannette Hinton and Rider's Rhea Phipps.
