Castrogivanni hasn’t slowed down since capturing the 2013 NEC Indoor MVP award. The veteran Pioneer shot out to the NEC lead in the mile run with her record performance at the Boston University Limited Open. The senior captain, who had already owned the conference’s top time in the 5K, crossed the line in 4:55.88 to beat her previous personal best and set a Sacred Heart program record. The performance was nearly 12 seconds better than the time the won at the 2013 NEC Indoor Championships.
