Whitmore had a busy week for the Mountaineers, winning the 60m dash at both the Navy Winter Invitational and the Bucknell Mini Meet. On both occasions she clocked in under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships in March. The 7.65 time she ran at Navy on Thursday catapulted the sophomore sprinter atop the NEC leader board. Whitmore also struck gold in the 200m dash at Navy, but took third in the event at Bucknell. Her top 200m time (25.51) places her sixth on the early-season NEC leader board.
