The Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week award goes from one Robert Morris Colonial to another. Claiming the honor that fellow freshman Cassie Oursler owned last week, Stamolamprou totaled 28 points over a two-game clip off the bench. The Greek-born guard accounted for nearly one-third of Robert Morris’ offensive output against Steel City rival Duquesne. She recorded 19 points, six rebounds and an assist over 28 turnover-free minutes in a 79-63 setback. Stamolamprou was active and effective again later in the week during a win over Cornell. The rookie scored nine points, on 3-for-8 shooting, and dished out four assists. She did not commit a single turnover in 53 minutes of action last week.
