Fairleigh Dickinson sits atop the NEC standings heading into the holiday season and Vizenfeld is a key reason why. The Knights’ anchor bowler averaged a conference-best 23.29 pins per frame while spearheading the team’s 6-2 showing at the second of three regular season NEC competitions. Vizenfeld, who was a NTCA Second Team All-American as a sophomore, was sensational during the three baker matches the Knights contested on December 7. The Israeli-born right-hander opened the weekend by throwing 10 consecutive strikes and finished with a 25.73 baker frame average. Vizenfeld was effective against NEC foes in traditional team play as well. On her way to a 218.2 five-game traditional average, she hit the 235-pin mark three times. Her weekend high game of 246 came in a win over LIU Brooklyn. Vizenfeld filled 93.8 percent of frames bowled at the conference meet, which was hosted by Sacred Heart in Wallingford, CT. She threw a team-high 71 strikes in 110 attempts for rarely-seen .645 strike percentage.
